Defining Custom Labels

Custom Labels allow customers to rename the standard Business Task field labels (e.g. Description, Subject etc.) to align with their own internal organizational terminology. For example, it is possible to rename the Business Task ‘Group’ field to ‘Work Package’, or the ‘Reference’ field to say ‘JIRA ticket’ instead.

The Business Task fields whose labels can be amended with custom labels are:

1. Description
2. Subject
3. Group
4. Reference
5. Project
6. Type
7. Priority

Note that the current custom labels functionality only supports Business Task fields and not Transport Form fields.

Labels are added/removed by ActiveControl Administrators via the Windows GUI configuration screen (on the [Classification] tab).
