ActiveControl 7.0 introduces the ability to force a ‘reason’ comment to be entered when selecting ‘Approve Anyway’ during analysis results. This can be used to ensure an auditable explanation of why an Approver has chosen to proceed with an approval when the analysers have presented warnings.
When the functionality is enabled, a popup will ask the approver to enter a reason when the ‘Approve Anyway’ button is used.
Configuration
This is configured via global setting within TE Configuration Option tab – “Require reason on transport Approve/Import anyway”.
