Metrics can be broken down into a number of “classifications”. The classifications allow you to drill into lower levels of detail on each metric to which the classification is associated. For example, when looking at meter readings, the metric may be broken down by division and then account class.
A classification is associated with a source object. It must be possible to get from the source object, to the classification in order to be able to calculate it correctly. The classifications are configured in the table /BTR/MDR_M2C_CLS. The fields to be configured on this table are:
- Classification ID – a unique ID representing the classification.
