By default, the Dashboard and Business Task list screens within the Web UI do not automatically refresh.
This means that if a user does an approval, the Dashboard screens will not automatically update, until such point as the user clicks the Refresh button in either the application or in their browser.
Since some customers would prefer this process to be automated – it is possible to enable an automatic refresh via configuration.
Configuration Steps
In table /BTI/TE_WEBUICFG within the Domain Controller:
i) maintain ALWAYS_RELOAD_TL as an ‘X’ to auto-refresh the Task list.
ii) maintain ALWAYS_RELOAD_DB as an ‘X’ to auto-refresh the dashboard.
