Filter Sets

Purpose

From within this screen, you can configure filter sets for use in recordings and playbacks. Entries for individual objects or ranges of objects can be specified and included/excluded. You can activate filter sets by clicking on the “Active” column in the filter set overview grid.

Filter sets can be defined at four exclusion stages:

1. Recording: Define filters for users and objects that should be excluded in recordings.
2. Transfer to repository: Define filters for users and objects that should be excluded when transferring recordings to the repository. You can enable Sampling for objects if you only want a sample of the recording to be transferred to the repository.
3. Execution: Define filters for users and objects that should be excluded when transferring them from the repository to an execution queue.
4. Result comparison: Define filters for users, objects and messages that should be excluded when comparing the playback results to the recording. You can also suppress failure reasons in test scripts.
