The approval time metrics supplied by DevAnalytics provide a clear view of where approvals are being delayed, and so can offer an easy starting point for any attempts at improving speed and efficiency.

DevAnalytics provides the ability to understand the number of days that changes and transports have been awaiting approval.

DevAnalytics provides 4 approval time metrics:

• Approval time into QA – Average (Transports) = The average amount of time in days it takes for transports to be approved for deployment into QA.
• Approval time into PROD – Average (Transports) = The average amount of time in days it takes for transports to be approved for deployment into Production.
• Approval time into QA – Average (Tasks) = The average total amount of time in days it takes for the transports for tasks to be approved for deployment into QA.
• Approval time into PROD – Average (Tasks) = The average total amount of time in days it takes for the transports for tasks to be approved for deployment into Production.
