Error Handling

In the unlikely event of finding an interval ending in error the whole run will be in error, because System Copy GT uses the Diffuser Framework it is very easy to reprocess the error, the interval can simply be rerun, meaning you don’t have to execute the whole run again or even run it for the table that failed. For details see the Reprocess Error section of the administrators guide.

*Note you can only reprocess errors with the update section running you cannot successfully reprocess an error during the interval generation program running.

If in the interval generation section a short dump with EXPORT_TOO_MUCH_DATA is generated, check via the transaction /N/BTR/MINICUBE which interval failed and this will provide the table detail, raising the commit size for that table should solve this as it is being broken down into too small a sections. The whole SYstem COpy GT run will need to be restarted at this stage.
