Once a recording has stopped, the data that has been captured (stored in tables on the source system) is automatically transferred to the central system. This is done in a number of parallel processes, with the number of processes determined by the number of scripts that have been recorded. Each parallel process uses a batch work process on the source system.

The configuration for this data transfer parallelisation is contained in table /BTI/AUT_C_DTPR in the central system.

The default configuration sets a number of parallel processes (in the PROCN column) depending on a maximum number of scripts in the recording (in the UPLIM column). So, for example, if your recording contains 400,000 scripts, then 5 parallel processes will be used (as 400,000 is just below the UPLIM number of 500,000).

Changes can be made to these values if you want to speed up the data transfer and you have enough free batch work processes on the source system.
