The following replace results can be expected:

  • Successfully Updated
  • Failed to Replace
  • Failed to Change Priority
  • Failed to Escalate
  • No Update – Deferred
  • No Update – Changed
  • No Update – User Inactive

Successfully Updated

This means the case has been processed according to the action successfully.

Failed to Replace, Failed to Change Priority and Failed to Escalate

This means although the case was eligible to be updated (according to the Action selected) – the update failed in SAP.

Updates can fail in SAP for several reasons – a few examples are

  • Case was locked (currently being changed by another user)
  • A database contention.
  • Or the case has already been returned to the queue between the start of the job and the update phase (does not apply to change priority action).

No Update – Deferred

If the case is currently deferred the action will not be processed and the action will be cancelled.

No Update – Changed

The action has been cancelled because the case has been changed within the threshold set i.e. the threshold is 10 days and the case was last changed 8 days ago.

No Update – User Active

The action has been cancelled as the user has been active in BDEx within the threshold period.

No Manager Assigned

This result only occurs for Escalate to TM (ES) or Escalate to TM and Change Priority (EP) actions.
If the user is not in the organizational structure or does not have a Team Manager position
