A ‘Name Selection’ field type has been added to Transport Expresso custom fields.
This field type has been added for customers that have been using text fields to record the names of people – eg ‘Project Managers’ or ‘Key User’ . Using a Name Selection field avoids the need to manually type out the users name (and the associated risk of typos / misspelling), with the additional benefit ithat the information can also potentially be used by other areas of Transport Expresso, for example custom user exits.
The selection of users originates from those that exist within SU01 within the Domain Controller system.
