All transports managed by Transport Express need to be assigned to a TE Transport Form. A transport can only be allocated to one TE Transport Form.
Once a transport is assigned to a transport form, Transport Express can be used to release the transport and manage its progress through the transport path.
NOTE: Before allocating a SAP transport to a TE Transport Form, make sure that all of the transport subtasks have been released from within SAP (SE09/SE10). This will ensure that the required SAP checks have been performed beforehand.
NOTE: Best practice is not release the SAP transport from within SAP. Once it has been allocated a TE Transport Form, the transport can be released using Transport Express. If it is released before having a TE Transport Form, the transport will not show up in the list of Change Requests without a Transport Form.
