Standard Recordings

Purpose

Business transactions are created during the recording stage of a Test Plan phase and represent the individual “interactions” that have occurred. Please select a source system to view the transactions that have been created.

Possible Actions

Session View: This tab represents the list of business interactions, in a tree format, that have occurred during the recording stage. The user can delete a specific business transaction by simply clicking the entry in the list view and hitting the “Delete Bus. Transaction” push button.

“Transfer to Repository” is the key action within the “Business Transaction” menu. This is the step, where the business transaction will be converted to “Test Scripts” which will later be used by the execution queue (explained separately under topic “Execution”). The UI will show the Test script status as “Test Script Created” upon successful creation of the test script.

Step View: This view presents the data from “Session View” in a list format. The user is also provided with the option to create the test scripts by clicking “Transfer to Repository” push button. Based upon user preference, they can choose between Session View or Step View.

Component View: Testimony has the intelligence to break down the business transaction into specific SAP business modules. In this view, the list of SAP transactions is categorised under SAP business modules and presented to the user. Here also the user is provided with the option to create the test scripts by clicking “Transfer to Repository” push button.
