A new project management and progress tracking function is now available within the Transport Express web UI. This allows the definition of project phases (e.g. Blueprint, Realisation, Final preparation, etc.) and the allocation of task statuses to each one.
These can then be allocated to specific projects along with the expected start and end date of each phase so the progress can be tracked.
The web UI Dashboard and Projects view will analyse all tasks allocated to the selected project and return the number in each phase along with a RAG status based on:
- Red: If tasks still exist for the project phase and phase end date in the past so should be complete. These items are overdue
- Amber: If tasks exist for the currently active project phase (based on the start and end date) but there are also tasks in previous project phases where the end date is in the past so should now be complete
- Green: If tasks exist for a future phase or for the current active phase and there are no overdue items in previous phases
