Unlike the SAP GUI when running dialog transactions, Fiori allows users to access their apps via many different clients. These include:

- Different device types – such as laptops, PC’s, tablets and smart-phones
- Different device models – such as iPhone 12, Samsung Galaxy and iPad
- Different browser types – such as Chrome, Edge and Safari
- Different operating systems – such as Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android

This information is now captured in 2.71 when Fiori apps are recorded. We capture this information for each script because it is needed when the playback is executed so that the playback bots can change the Chrome emulator mode to ensure that the apps are played in a more compatible manner.

During the recording this information is stored for each script and step that is captured. It is transferred into the test script repository and is accessible to users via the investigate screen.
