Predictive Difference Analyzer (PDA) was introduced in version 2.60 of Testimony and should be used prior to a playback in order to understand the differences between the production system and the changes that have been introduced into your QA system (the changes that Tetimony will regression test).
PDA has now been leveraged across other products in the Basis Technologies suite and it was decided to “extract” (from a technical perspective) the sub-product PDA into a separate development system. This allows the product to be enhanced independently of Testimony and changes to be made to it separately.
This technical extraction of PDA was done in the 2.70 release of Testimony. From a customer perspetive, there is no impact and the software of Testimony still contains PDA as expected.
