Availability of Licence Keys Application

Viewing the existing licence key details and uploading new licence keys is now possible via the Licence Keys application tile. This tile is located under the Admin tile and positioned between the existing Refresh and Support tiles in the Other Setup section.

The Licence Keys tile will show the number of days until the licence key expires. The text for the remaining days will be green if the licence expiry is higher than 32 days and red if the remaining days is less than 31 days. The remaining days is derived based on licence expiry date compared to the current date.

Clicking on the Licence Keys tile will open a new dialog page and display the full licence information with button options to upload a new licence and copy licence details to clipboard. Clicking on the ‘Upload New Licence’ button will launch a File Explorer for the user to select an appropriate licence key to be uploaded. Clicking on the “Copy Licence Details to Clipboard” will copy the Installation number and System ID to the clipboard.

*By default, ActiveControl administrators have full access to the Licence Keys tile. Other ActiveControl users assigned the authorisation object Y_TEUSER with activity value CONFIG will be able to view the Licence Keys tile and licence key information with no option to upload a new licence.
