“Overwrite import event” Section

A new “Overwrite import event” section has been added to report /BTI/TE_RSYSTEM_REBUILD selection screen. This section is dependent on the manual assignment of authorisation object Y_TEADMIN with activity OVERWRITEIMPORTEVENT. Once overwritten with source system import event history in the target system, the original target system import event history cannot be reverted.

!Section “Overwrite import event” and its contents will only be visible if authorisation object Y_TEADMIN with activity OVERWRITEIMPORTEVENT is manually assigned to the user executing this report.

!Warning! Once overwritten with source system import event history in the target system, the original target system import event history cannot be reverted!

The “Overwrite import event” section is dependent on values entered in the Options section. If options are checked in “Overwrite import event” section but no values are maintained in “Options” section, then report /BTI/TE_RSYSTEM_REBUILD cannot be executed.

Details of the two options available for “Overwrite import event” section.

1. Overwrite import event in transport form history – Unchecked by default. Must be checked manually if system refresh associated transport forms with import event history in target system is to be overwritten with import event history from the source system.
2. Test run only – Checked by default to display system refresh associated transport forms with import history event in target system that is to be overwritten with import event history from the source system. This is a read-only option with no overwrite.

1. Report can be executed in foreground only.
