Additional Event Logs

Additional log entries are written in Transport Form history event, Business Task history event and in System Errors (Health Console application) for backup transport creation or release failure.

!Both the “Automatically create Backup Transport Request during import” and “Continue import if Backup Transport Request creation/release fails” option must be checked in the relevant Target properties for additional log entries to be written.

In Transport Form and Business Task history under the event column, the message ‘Backup transport request creation/release failure’ is appended to the imported event.

In System Errors (Health Console application), error message “An error occurred when attempting to create a backup request” is displayed for backup transport request creation failure whereas error message “An error occurred when attempting to release a backup request” is displayed for backup transport request release failure.

Clicking on the information icon will display details of the backup transport request creation or release failure.

*Regardless of the Backout level selected be it ‘Business Task Level’ or ‘Import Release Level’, the additional logs in Transport Form/Business Task history event and System Errors are written to all transport requests associated with the Business Task level or Import Release level for consistency.
