In the legacy ActiveControl Web UI, there was no specific concept of Business Task Owner – e.g., the person who created/owned the Business Task.
The user who was seen within the Web UI as the Change Owner was actually just the Default Tester on the BT. If the Default Tester was changed, then the BT Owner also changed.
The ActiveControl Web Platform seperates out the Business Task Owner and the Default Tester into two distinct concepts. Whoever creates the Business Task is the Business Task Owner – this cannot be changed later on. Whoever creates the Business Task is also set as the Default Tester – however this can be changed later (or indeed as part of the creation if the Rules Engine testing consumer is being used).
