RAG Icons

Numerous RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status icons are available throughout ActiveControl to give visibility on particular issues and scenarios as part of the delivery of SAP change.

Some of these status Icons were pre-existing in earlier versions of ActiveControl, whilst some are newly introduced as part of the new Web Platform UI.

Where the icon is indicating something that is more informational rather than an actual issue, it is typically shown in Blue or Purple for easier differentiation.

Risk Indicates if a Transport contains SAP objects defined as risky/critical within the Customer organisation. Please refer to this online Knowledge Article for details on configuring the 0001 Risk Guard analyser which is used for the RAG status calculation. Yes Both
Conflict Indicates if a Transport contains objects that are also being changed in parallel track, via the 0005 Conflict Analysis ShiftLeft analyser. DevEnforcer Indicates if a Transport has coding, security or performance issues, as defined in the checks against the corresponding DevEnforcer analysers (0004, 0006, 0016) Please refer to these online Knowledge Articles for details on setting up 0004, 0006, and 0016 analysers which are used as part of the RAG status calculation. Aged Transport Indicates if a Transport Form is older than a certain (configurable) number of days. Please refer to this online Knowledge Article for details of the configuration. Yes Both
Dormant Transport Indicates if a Transport Form has been sitting in a particular control point location for more than a certain (configurable) number of days. Please refer to this online Knowledge Article for details of the configuration. Yes Both
Manual Step Indicates if a Transport has an incomplete Manual Step against it. Red means the Manual Step is incomplete and is holding up an import. Amber means the Manual Step is incomplete but is not holding up an Import. Green means that the Manual Step is complete (for the current system). No configuration required.

Testing Indicates if a Business Task has had test results other than “Successfully Tested” logged, and the Business Task left in the Test Queue using “Save and Close”.
“Testing – Problem” – should be RED
”Testing – Information” should be BLUE
”Testing – Waiting” – should be PURPLE
”Testing – Bypass” – should be GREEN

UModes Indicates if a Transport Form default umodes have been changed on the “Advanced Options” subscreen of the Transport Form. No configuration required. No Transport Form only
Automated Approval Indicates if a Transport Form is awaiting automated-approval (or if it failed). No configuration required for the RAG status. Please refer to this online Knowledge Article for further information on configuring automated approvals. No Transport Form only
RC8 Indicates if latest import of a Transport ended in RC8. No configuration required. No Transport Form only




Global View Icons

Some icons are also seen specifically in the Global View to indicate specific issues and situations.



Global View – Target / Path Icons

Summary Icon Description
Path icon Indicates the overall Transport Path within the Global View.
Target icon Indicates the Target within the Path in the Global View.
Bypassed Target Indicates that a Target is being bypassed via Target configuration .


Global View – Import Queue icons

Topic Icon Description
Import Issue Indicates an Import issue or System Error in an Import Queue.
Padlock Indicates that the Import Queue is locked. ActiveControl does this locking / unlocking when Imports are happening via ActiveControl.
System Connectivity Issue Indicates an RFC connectivity issue that will prevent import to the SAP system via ActiveControl.
