Business Task Dependencies

Within ActiveControl, it is also possible to create dependencies between Business Tasks. This can be done at two levels within the Dependencies subscreen of the Business Task:

1. Related Business Tasks: this is useful where there are no technical dependencies between Transports that necessitate two changes being imported at the same time or in a particular order, but where the Customer wants to ensure two Business Tasks get deployed through the landscape at the same time for other business reasons.

2. Business Task Dependencies: this capability was requested by one customer so that they could create sequential dependencies between Business Tasks instead of using Transport Dependencies.

Both these capabilities are only available in the Web Platform UI, they are not available via SAPGUI.
