System Messages

It is possible for ActiveControl Administrators to issue system messages to all users on the Web Platform, via configuration in backend table /BTI/TE_SYSMESS in the Domain Controller.

This can be used to inform users of an upcoming system outage or other significant events such as a system refresh or planned upgrade.

The start and end dates/times indicate the time period during which ActiveControl will present the configured message to users.

Any configured system messages show on the Web Platform home page, via the notification icon in the shellbar.

*It is possible to configure multiple system messages against the same start/end date range – via the use of the Count field as part of the table key in /BTI/TE_SYSMESS.
