Project

Projects within ActiveControl are used to define a logical grouping of Business Tasks.

Projects are typically used within most customers for grouping Business Tasks and Transport Forms into entities such as:

1) Releases
2) Sprints
3) SAP Projects
4) Upgrade Projects

As with the Transport Form and Business Task screens, the Project screen is a simple screen that can populated very quickly. This can only be done in the Web Platform, it is not possible to create ActiveControl Projects in the SAPGUI.

The Project screen does not contain many standard fields, but it is possible for Customers to add custom fields via configuration if required.

* A new Phases progress bar is seen as part of the header information on the Project screen within the Web Platform. This bar shows the progress of the Project in the overall process workflow, based on a count of Transport Forms associated with Business Tasks linked to the Project. This count is calculated based on the Project Phases, and location of the Transport Forms in the ActiveControl workflow against these Phases. The Phases progress bar is linked to the phases defined on the Phases subscreen. If Phases are not defined against a Project, then the Phases progress bar will not be seen for that Project.
