Mark as Manually Applied

There may be occasions during the Merge process where a Conflict is identified. In some instances, decision may be taken by the SAP team not to utilise ActiveControl Merge, but instead to manually rekey the source change into the target Development system.

In this situation, Mark as Manually Applied action can be used in the Transport Form to reflect that the Transport Form will not be merged.

When performing Mark as Manually Applied action, the user must indicate the Transport number of the Transport against which the manual rekey was done. Doing this ensures an audit of this manual rekey within ActiveControl (as the

*Mark as Manually Applied action will only be seen when a Transport Form is sitting in a Merge Inbox or Merge Import Queue.

*Only users with the authorisation activity [Y_TEIMPORT]-MARKASMANUALLYAPPLIE will be able to perform the Mark as Manually Applied action.
