Global View

The ActiveControl Global View gives a holistic overall ‘tree structure’ view of the entire SAP estate being managed by ActiveControl.

At most Basis Technologies’ customers, it is predominantly used by Change Managers, Basis Teams and other users that typically need to have this ‘helicopter view’ of all Targets and Paths within ActiveControl.

The Global View is accessed via the Global View app tile on the home screen.

* Only authorised users with [Y_TEUSER]-VIEWGLOBALVIEW authorisation activity can access the Global View. This auth activity has been given to the Change Manager, Basis and Administrator out-of-the-box roles. Customers wanting to let other user personas within their organisation access the Global View will need to create a Z role with this authorisation activity.

*Global View can only be accessed via PC. It is deliberately not accessible via Mobile Devices because of the complexity of the screen not translating well to smaller device screen sizes.
