Installing the Web Platform

Unlike previous versions of ActiveControl, the ActiveControl Web Platform includes a container image that needs to be hosted, in addition to the pre-existing requirement for a backend ActiveControl Domain Controller SAP system.

ActiveControl Web Platform offers various deployment options, based on customer’s pre-existing use of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP FLP (Fiori Launchpad).

• Deploying to standalone Node Server
• Deploying to BTP
• Deploying the BTI Dashboard or on Fiori Launchpad?

Minimum of 1GB of RAM and 2GB of storage will be required for both options.

* The Basis Technologies recommendation to our customers would be to deploy on BTP whereever possible, given that is SAP’s strategic direction, and parts of SAP are already becoming well-established there.
