Recent Activity

The Recent Activity tile in the ActiveControl Web Platform gives end-users visibility of activity that has recently ocurred within ActiveControl.

Three subscreens are currently accessible via the Recent Activity tile.

1. My Activity
2. All Activity
3. Followed Activity

The Recent Activity tile count gives an indication of the number of Followed Items on which there has been recent activity.

My Activity

‘My Activity’ subscreen gives a read-only view of the activity that the individual end-user has performed within ActiveControl (eg Approvals, Test signoffs, Imports etc). It is aimed at giving the user an easy way of reminding themselves what they have recently been working on.

All Activity

‘All Activity’ subscreen gives a read-only view of all activity performed by all users within ActiveControl..

*Note that All Activity will show the activity of both the current user plus all other users. It is possible for your local ActiveControl Administrator to restrict this via User exit.

Followed Activity

‘Followed Activity’ subscreen gives a read-only view of all activity that the individual end-user has chosen to follow.

* It is possible to search/filter within the Recent Activity subscreens. This can be useful for locating specific Business Tasks, Transports, Users etc.

* The data presented in the Recent Activity screen is generated by some backend jobs scheduled by your local Administrator. In most cases, 50 days of historical data is included in the generation. To see older activity in ActiveControl, the extensive suite of ALV reports should be used instead.
