My Testing

Test Signoffs can be performed via the ‘My Testing’ tile on the Home screen of the ActiveControl Web Platform.

A user can only perform Testing on the Business Tasks for which they are a defined approver (or individual Transports, depending on the configuration of ActiveControl within your organisation).

The numerical count on My Testing tile indicates the number of items against which the user is required to do a Test Signoff.

Clicking on the My Testing tile will present a list screen of the items currently awaiting your approval.

On the Testing list screen, it is possible to sort and filter and also change the columns that you see in the default view. Free text searching can also be done on the following fields, to filter what is seen on the list screen:

• Business Task ‘Reference’
• Business Task ‘Subject’
• Location
• Change Owner (Full Name)
• Change Owner (Username)
• Project
• Business Task ‘Type’
• Business Task ‘Group’

It is not currently possible to search based on Custom Field values, or any other standard fields not explicitly mentioned above.

* It is possible to manually run the ActiveControl ShiftLeft Analysers in advance of doing doing the Test Signoff. This can be useful to proactively identify and mitigate any issues prior to the Test Signoff being done. When the Test Signoff is done, all configured Analysers will automatically run again.

Testing Multiple Changes

Within ActiveControl, it is possible to sign off testing on multiple Business Tasks sitting in one location, however unlike Approvals, it is not currently possible to sign off Testing on the same Business Task across different Paths or Locations.
